_Trader Watchlist

HSX has a cool feature called "Trader Watchlist" which basically allows you to make a list of traders that you would like to keep track of.  Trader Watchlist is located under the 'Community' tab of the HSX Navigation Bar.

Once you are on the Trader Watchlist page, you just simply add the username of the player(s) that you would like to include and monitor.   

After you have entered a username of a player you would like to peek on, you will be able to see their net worth and their gains for the week, month, season and year.  The watchlist stats are updated each night at reset.

The players that you add to your watchlist are stored and will appear the next time that you visit the watchlist.  To remove a player from your list, simply click 'remove' at the far right of the page.  HSX will pop up a confirmation screen to double check the removal.





Cool

There are many different cool things that you can do by using the trader watchlist:

- If you have a group of friends (or classmates) that are also playing HSX, you can keep track of their progress

- If you are playing a YTD race port, you can add players you feel are competition and keep track of their progress

- I have a random number of active players on my watchlist.  I can look and see how all their ports are doing and get a feel for the market.  If a majority of their ports are doing good and my port is doing bad, I know my port has a problem that needs fixing.  If a majority of their ports are doing bad and my port is doing bad, then I know the market is doing bad. If their ports are doing bad and mine is doing good, I know that I am lucky.  If their ports are doing good and my port is also doing good, then I know that the market is doing good.

- I have the people who are ranked above me on my watchlist so I can see how much further I have to go to climb a rank.

- I also have many of the weekly Top 20 players on my watchlist so I can compare my progress to theirs and keep myself competitive.
