_I remember, when I was growing up, how excited I would get when a sequel would be released.  It was a special thing and usually only happened a few times a year... now it seems like there is a sequel happening at least almost every month!

Hollywood is constantly changing and not only are they making sequels to recent hit movies, they have started making sequels to ancient movies (like Tron, Indiana Jones and now Top Gun)!

I was watching a Dana Carvey stand up special on cable the other day when a friend commented about how many performers had gotten famous on Saturday Night Live and then moved on to movies.

Step Up with superpowers? Zombie eats your boyfriend and then falls in love with you?  Helen Hunt having sex with paralyzed man so he isn't a virgin anymore?  Struggling writer chases serial murderer to get a script back?

We pulled out the newspaper to choose a movie to watch this weekend and to check the showtimes.  As my friend was reading off their top choices (Super 8, Transformers 3, Green Lantern, Thor) I noticed...

[Animal Movies]!

The HSX Dude recently had Fund Week: Summer 2011 and I was surprised that only one fund had an inactive manager (in the past there have always been a handful).

I started doing some research about upcoming movies that feature animals to see why an active player would leave the Animal Fund for dead (link).  It's not because there is a lack of investment opportunities!

[Related Starbonds]!

I was cleaning thru my port recently and I just started to notice how many movie stars that are related and have starbonds listed at The Hollywood Stock Exchange.

Below is a list of brothers, sisters, brother/sister, parent/child, and various other relationed starbonds that I found.  I knew there were some, but when you see them all on a list together, you got to say, "wow... thats a lot!"

Hollywood thinks it is easy money to take something that was already successful and just slap a new coat of paint on it and watch the new money roll in.

This is the age of the GFB (geek fan boy)! The technology now exists to make superhero movies look somewhat believable, so now there is a whole lot of superhero movies coming our way (and lots more in the works!)
